ABOUT

Welcome to the 1st Annual Puget Sound Showdown Girls Lacrosse Tournament! We invite girls lacrosse teams of all ages and skill levels to join us in Tacoma for this premier event. We promise integrity, consistency, and positivity in a highly organized environment.

The Puget Sound Showdown will host teams from Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and Canada in four divisions.  All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games with additional performance-based playoff games leading up to the final battle for the tournament championship .

DIVISIONS 

HS Open - 2026, 2027, 2028 

14U - 2029, 2030 

12U - 2031, 2032 

10U - 2033, 2034

Tournament Rules

Tournament style games consist of two 20-minute running halves, with a 5 minute halftime, utilizing a central clock

Team Registration

Team registration is OPEN.

The Puget Sound Showdown is taking 40 teams this year: U10, U12, U14, HS. 

Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Team registration is for coaches and/or directors. 

 

TOURNAMENT FEE

We will accept the first 10 teams per division that register and pay their deposit.  Please note, this non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot in the event.  

$500 Non-Refundable Deposit (to reserve your spot in the event)

HS Open - $2000/team

Girls 2029/2030 - $1750/TEAM

Girls 2031/2032 - $1750/TEAM

Girls 2033/2034 - $1100/TEAM (7v7 format)

Proximity: Less than 10 miles from the field. The Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites are next to one another. Skip I-5 traffic by driving along the water to the fields.

Parking

Address: 10311 Chambers Creek Rd. W, University Place

Parking: Signage for parking will be posted throughout the area surrounding Chambers Creek Regional Park. Please do not enter through the main golf course entrance. Here’s a link for the parking entrance.

Parking is $5 per day and $10 for the weekend. You can pay via cash or Venmo. Pay in advance via Venmo toPay for parking ahead of time via Venmo @pugetsoundtourney

Looking to play at the Puget Sound Showdown? We are have several teams in need of one or two extra players for the duration of the tournament. Sign-up to be a free agent here by clicking here.

VOLUNTEERS

We would love to get your support to make this event the best we can, and continue to grow the game. We are looking for adults and high schoolers who are interested in volunteering and/or working as staff for the tournament. Fill out this volunteer form.

OFFICIALS

Interested in refereeing? Parent certified referees are allowed. Please include what program and team your player plays for to ensure no conflict of interest in assigned games. COLLEGE COACHES

We are excited to welcome college coaches to this event. If you are planning on attending, please fill in this college coach inquiry form, so we can make sure you have a great experience while you are at the Puget Sound Showdown tournament. IMPORTANT information

Vendors: We will have swag and food trucks (including coffee!) on site on Saturday and Sunday. More information on vendors below.

Team Tents: There will be an area for team tents.

Dogs: Dogs ARE allowed at the venue on the spectator side!

We ask that dogs be kept off the sidelines and on a leash at all times. The tournament has the right to ask anyone with an animal to leave at any time if they are being disruptive. There is a fenced-off dog park area next to the fields.

First Aid: We will have an athletic trainer on site to help with player injuries.

Hydration: We encourage you to bring your refillable water bottles. Water refill stations will be set up on each field at all main scorers tables.

There will be several vendors onsite at the tournament to enjoy. Vendors include tourney swag, lacrosse equipment, food trucks, coffee, smoothies, and more. If you’re interested in being a vendor at this event, please reach out to Madison Girard.
