We ARE STRONG.
WE ARE UNIQUE.
WE ARE 253.

OUR STORY

253 Lacrosse was formed because of a noticeable gap in positive competitive programming in the North and South Sound regions of Washington State.

This club was built on the principles of developing athletes on and off the field, while having fun, building confidence, and competing at an elite level - knowing all of these can coexist.

Enter Courtney Stringer - the heart and soul of 253 Lacrosse.

Courtney does it all. Coach. Player. Director. Founder.

253 Lacrosse was founded to provide high level lacrosse play in the South Sound area. It has since grown to cover areas such as Snohomish, Everett, Bellingham, Anacortes, Stanwood, and Marysville.

With more than 15 years of coaching experience, Courtney brings a wealth of expert knowledge to the 253 program.

Coaching for teams of all ages and genders, Courtney’s positivity and leadership make her one of the most sought after coaches in the region, elevating 253 Lacrosse and setting the tone for the entire club.

Our mission is to provide a positive, inclusive environment for athletes to compete with confidence and reach their full potential, both on and off the field.

It is a privilege to play for this lacrosse club. We teach our athletes to know their value and appreciate their worth.
We focus on building the total athlete mentally, physically, and relationally.

our mission

OUR APPROACH

We have a USA Lacrosse standardized practice curriculum that is implemented across all levels of our teams, ensuring that each season builds upon the last to prepare your athlete for elite play.

We go to great lengths to train our coaches and hold them to the highest standards. Our coaches are current and former collegiate athletes who have a high lacrosse IQ. Our coaches are focused on creating a successful team dynamic while advancing and implementing your athlete’s skills and abilities.

We are a competitive select lacrosse program. Playing time is not guaranteed. Playing time is based on attendance, attitude, and ability. We expect your athlete to show up to practice as much as your family schedule allows, and we expect your athlete to be alert, present, and respectful at practice. We acknowledge that playing time should not be based on skill alone and rely heavily on the attitude and effort from the girls.

We believe that we make each other better by showing up and giving our best effort, every day.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

WE>ME

What makes our program special is the uplifting and positive culture that we cultivate in our athletes and on our teams. We pride ourselves on putting this positive team culture above winning because no lacrosse team in the world is defined by 1 or 2 players.

Our ideals and expectations can be found in our Parent and Player Code of Conduct.

Please review this document prior to registering to ensure 253 lacrosse is the right fit for you and your athlete. Parents and players who cannot adhere to the expectations outlined in this document, will be asked to leave the program.

OUR partners

We are proud to partner with the following organizations. 253 athletes have access to discounts on select partner products. Reach out to your area director for more information.
